The PawGuardian App
Move from live device status to pulse waveforms, wellness trends, and location history without switching between services.

From setup to everyday insight
Add each PawGuardian using its unique device code and binding code. From there, the app keeps pet profiles, device assignments, and monitoring records clearly organized.
Enter the device code and binding code to add your PawGuardian to the app.
Reassign a device between pet profiles when needed, or use separate devices with separate pets for simultaneous recording.
Set up heart-rate monitoring on the dog, or prepare the separate respiration module for sleep monitoring. The two modes do not run together.
Check live device status, optical PPG, outdoor location, and up to 30 days of heart-rate and respiration trends.
Mode choice matters
Use one monitoring mode at a time and follow its placement requirements.
Position the main device so the sensors maintain direct contact with the skin, then turn on heart-rate monitoring in the app. Poor contact, loose placement, fur, or movement can make readings unstable or inaccurate.
Attach the separate respiration module magnetically to the main unit. Do not place it on the pet; place the unit on a stable surface at least 30 cm away while the pet is sleeping.

Skin-contact monitoring
PawGuardian must sit below the chest with the sensor surface in direct contact with the skin.
Do not place the device on the side or back of the chest.
Attach both ends to a compatible harness to reduce movement.
Move fur aside and adjust the harness so the sensors remain against the skin.
Harness not included. Check chest space and harness compatibility before purchasing.
8 colorways
Choose from eight device, base, logo, and strap combinations.

Screen colors may differ slightly from the actual product. The body, base, logo, and strap combination will depend on the colorway ordered.
From home to the trail
Browse real-world wearing references across different dogs and environments.

These photos are provided as fit and use references. Adjust the harness to suit your dog’s body and coat.
Learning in the field
Together with 11 Hour Rescue Shanghai in Kunshan, Suzhou, we worked alongside caregivers and dogs to observe fit, comfort, movement, and device behavior.

Hardware at a glance
PawGuardian includes the monitoring device and attachment straps. A compatible harness is required but is not included or sold by PawGuardian.
Before you begin
Quick answers about binding, placement, monitoring modes, GPS, and what PawGuardian data is designed to show.
Add each device with its device code and binding code. You can reassign a device between pet profiles, or assign separate devices to separate pets so multiple pets can be recorded at the same time.
Fit the main device below the chest with the sensor against the skin, secure it to a compatible harness, and turn on heart-rate monitoring in the app. Incorrect or loose placement can produce unstable or inaccurate data.
No. Heart-rate monitoring and respiration monitoring are separate operating modes and cannot run at the same time.
Attach the respiration module magnetically to the main hardware unit. It does not need to be worn. Place it on a stable surface at least 30 cm from the pet while the pet is sleeping, then use respiration mode in the app.
GPS may be unavailable indoors, near tall structures, or where the sky is obstructed. Move to an open outdoor area and allow about 3–5 minutes for the device to acquire satellites.
It visualizes the relative optical pulse signal over short intervals, helping you assess contact and signal stability while providing a reference for heart-rate trends. Motion and poor fit can distort the waveform. It is not an ECG and cannot diagnose a medical condition.
The app can retain up to 30 days of heart-rate and respiration-rate trends, helping you review changes over time.
PawGuardian currently supports iOS only, on iPhone and iPad, in English and Chinese. The app is available through the Apple App Store in the United States and China.
PawGuardian provides wellness-trend references only. It is not a veterinary medical device and does not replace professional veterinary care.
